Adsense Beautifier is against the policy of adsense

A lot of people out there uses a plugin for wordpress called adsense Beautifier, which places little images next to ads in orderto increase the click through rate.
Until then, according to the author of the plugin, this was not goingagainst the policy of adsense and also according to him, this was said by Google itself, in response to an email asking about the "legality " of the plugin.
Today, however, the official blog in English adsense, google makes it clear (with pictures even) that using this plugin or the like is totally against the AdSense policies, which might take the user to click on ads unknowingly, thinking that it relates to the image.
What they say, actually, is to have images next to ad units is no problem. The problem is to have these images aligned with the ads in a way that makes it appear that the announcement has to do with them.
So be careful. If you are using this plugin, or even some other wayto put images aligned to the ads, try to take as soon as possible. It may be that this post from google is a warning and soon they begin to cancel the accounts of users who do not move.
I've used this plugin for some time and, in fact, it helps to greatly increase CTR. But for some reason, the CPM has dropped moreor less the same proportion and I just ignored it.
